It is a new week for Material Girl on E-bay and I am just getting started listing new items. I am a tad behind because of the Monday holiday and a soccer tournament this weekend, so check back to my
e-bay store often this week for new listings. I have already listed a couple more of the 1970's fashion patterns, one Butterick and one Simplicity. This group of patterns that I found are so retro and right in style with what you find in the stores today. I have to say that I when I learned to sew, it was mostly garment sewing. I could swear that I had these patterns to make in high school. I think my mom may have made the mini dress/hot pants for me one Christmas. It was a red and green mini plaid, and if I remember correctly the fabric was a heavy double knit. Sounds ghastly now, but I think I loved it! I think both of these patterns could be very cute today with the right fabric!
I have pulled several needlepoint kits to list and they will probably start appearing tonight. I have a jungle cat theme this week. I have two kits with a Leopard, and two with a Jaguar. One of the kits is a Monarch Horizons that incorporates long stitch. The other three are Sunset, Dimensions, and Candamar Designs. I haven't taken the pictures of these yet.
In honor of back to school, I have a cute kit from Bucilla that is called "Happiness is Homemade." It looks like a child's drawing.
I will be listing two quilt kits that I never got into the store last week. One is Shangri-la from 3 Sisters by Moda and the other is Sanctuary, also by 3 Sisters. Both kits come with the fabric, pattern and a tote. They would make great gifts for a quilting friend, or for you.
I have decided to offer free shipping on one or two items each week. Look for the free shipping symbol on the auction to find out which listing(s) I have chosen.
Please feel free to e-mail me if you are looking for anything special. I am always happy to help! Thanks for visiting my blog. Let me know that you were here! Debbie
